When you need an MOT
If you’ve ever owned a vehicle before, you’ll know that MOT’s are a legal requirement and need to be done every year on any car, van or vehicle over three years old. This is to make sure they are roadworthy and meet the environmental standards set by the government. Your motor insurance will not be valid if you do not have a valid MOT, as your vehicle has not been deemed safe to be on the road, so it’s really important that you get it done on time every year.
To try and keep your costs down as much as possible, we’ve kept the price of our MOTs low and offer free retests on all MOTs done within 10 working days. We’ll check your vehicle thoroughly and make sure you know exactly what’s going on each step of the way.
Clear and transparent MOTs
If your vehicle does fail, we will give you a full and simple explanation as to why it’s failed and tell you exactly what needs to be repaired to pass the test. We will also make any recommendations on any other potential issues that aren’t dangerous but might cause problems in the future (known as advisories). We will never do anything unnecessary or without your permission and are always more than happy to talk through anything and offer advice.
